QFE Spring 2024

Dear Friends and Supporters of QFE,
Because we know art can tell some stories better than words ever could, we created a quilt-based art exhibit called "Let Us Tell You About Fistula", in conjunction with the Fistula Foundation.  We are excited to share that the special exhibit will be shown at OHSU in late May.

Quilting has been at the heart of the Women’s Program since QFE’s inception.  Women in our program have taken their first steps toward healing and economic independence through picking up a needle and thread.  Many of you have purchased the women’s striking textile work, including “story quilts”, table linens and quilting squares.  These pieces of artwork move all of us.  

We’ll be sure to tell you the details as soon as they are available, so you can visit this beautiful and meaningful exhibit in person.  In the meantime, you can learn more about the exhibit virtually here or watch this compelling video about it. 

We are actively seeking other exhibit sites elsewhere in the USA, so please let us know if you have any leads.
